The TempDog Team

TempDog is a small independent project. The guides on this blog are written by the TempDog Team, the same people who build and run the temporary email service.

How we write our guides

  • Official sources first. Scam alerts and dates come from the agencies that publish them, such as the FTC, the FBI and Medicare.gov. Articles that rely on laws, official advice or other services list their sources at the end.
  • Checked before publishing. Each fact is checked against the source it comes from. We use AI tools to help with research and drafts, and a person reviews every article before it goes live.
  • Kept up to date. Each article shows its publication date and, when it changes, the date of the last update. When an agency changes its advice or a date passes, we update the article or say clearly that it is out of date.
  • Honest about our own product. When we compare TempDog with other services, we also say where they are better.
