How TempDog works
Four steps, no sign-up.
- Get a random address. Open the home page and your address is ready. It's random on purpose, so nobody can guess it or pretend to be someone else.
- Choose how long it lives. From 5 minutes to 30 days. You can change it anytime before it ends. Need just one code? Turn on Close after first email.
- Read your emails. New emails appear on their own. Trackers are blocked, and you can save any email as a PDF.
- Come back later, or delete it. Save your access key or QR code to reopen the inbox on any device. Press Delete now, or wait for the timer, and everything is gone for good.
Good to know
- You can only receive emails, not send them.
- Don't use a temporary address for your bank or anything you will need to get back into.
- Some websites block temporary addresses.
Questions
How long does my temporary email last?
As long as you choose: from 5 minutes up to 30 days. The timer is always visible, and you can extend it or end it early at any time.
How do I get back to my inbox later?
On the same device, just open the site again: your inbox is still there. To open it on another device, or after clearing your browser data, use Save access: copy your access key, or scan the QR code with your phone. Anyone with the key can read your emails, so keep it private. If you lose it, we cannot recover the inbox, because we keep no account details.
What happens when my address expires?
The address and all its emails are deleted for good. The address is never given to anyone else, so nobody can receive mail that was meant for you.
