What we protect, and what we can't.

What we do

• HTTPS everywhere.
• Your inbox opens only with its secret key. We store the key in a form we can't read back.
• Emails are deleted when the timer ends, and expired addresses are never reused.
• Tracking images are blocked until you choose Load images.
• Inboxes are hidden from search engines.
• Emails are shown in an isolated frame, so scripts in an email can't run.

What we can't do

• Protect an inbox from someone who has your key.
• Recover an inbox after it is deleted.
• Stop a website from refusing temporary addresses.
• Check that every email is safe. Be careful with links and attachments.
